Blackjack is a popular casino card game in which players compete against the dealer. The goal of the game is to get a hand total of 21 or as close to 21 as possible without going over. Players are dealt two cards and can choose to hit (take another card) or stand (keep their current hand total). The dealer must hit until their hand total is 17 or higher. The player with the highest hand total that is 21 or under wins the game.
Blackjack is a card game played between a player and a dealer. The goal of the game is to get a hand total that is higher than the dealer’s hand total without going over 21.
The game begins with each player being dealt two cards face up. The dealer is also dealt two cards, one face up and one face down. The player then has the option to hit (take another card) or stand (keep their current hand total).
If the player’s hand total is higher than the dealer’s, they win. If the player’s hand total is lower than the dealer’s, they lose. If the player and dealer have the same hand total, it is a tie and the player’s bet is returned.
If the player’s hand total is 21, they have a blackjack and automatically win unless the dealer also has a blackjack. In this case, it is a tie and the player’s bet is returned.
If the player’s hand total is over 21, they bust and automatically lose.
Once the player stands, the dealer will then reveal their face down card and hit or stand based on the rules of the game. If the dealer’s hand total is higher than the player’s, the dealer wins. If the dealer’s hand total is lower than the player’s, the player wins. If the dealer’s hand total is over 21, the dealer busts and the player wins.

Blackjack Split Rules
When a player is dealt two cards of the same value, they can choose to split them into two separate hands. The player must then place a second bet equal to their original bet. The dealer will then deal a second card to each hand. The player can then choose to hit, stand, double down, or split again (if they have two cards of the same value). The player will then play out each hand separately, according to the normal blackjack rules.
